Another busy week as always. When I got back from work on Friday my first task was to get my new storage robot (Drobo) up and running. It took me a while to backup all my data in the first place ready to transfer onto the Drobo but I am finally getting there.

So, whilst busy getting ready to set it up and getting all the hard drives out of my old pc I decided I would take a few photos of the process and make a little panel. Once again all taken on the Fuji X10.

Once again having a good play with the X10 this week. Decided to take a few detail shots of my bike of which this weeks blog is one of them.
I have been yet further impressed at the IQ this camera produces! This weeks shot is @ISO1600 and just look how clean it is, straight out of camera, no adjustment.
Me and this X10 are going to get along just nicely :)

I took this recently whilst on the way to work when we had a little snowfall. I have converted it to B&W.

This was taken on my Apple Iphone 3g, not bad for a 2mp camera!! Just goes to show you don't need loads of mp to get a good photo!!

This week its another close up/macro subject. I am really loving the ability of the X10 macro. It never ceases to amaze me the level of detail it can produce and also how quickly shots like this can be achieved. It kinda makes shooting things like this a breeze compared to setting up tripods and other things when using a DSLR. (yes thats right, this shot was taken handheld!)
I had already thought about this shot a little while ago but never managed to achieve the look I wanted using my 100mm macro lens. Decided to give it another go using the X10 and the result is hear for you all to see.

Took the car and the camera out today for a few photos. Typically it wasn't quite as sunny as yesterday but the light wasn't too bad.
Camera of choice was the Fuji X10 for this shoot. The more I use it the more I love it. The results from such a small camera never cease to amaze me really. Ok, so its not the cheapest camera but it does a bloody good job!!!

I have had this car since October 2011 and have been meaning to get out and take some photos of it. Decided what with the weather hows its been and also the cars colour (silver) I would go for a B&W conversion which I think has worked very well indeed. With any luck I shall get some more time and different locations to try some more car shots with very soon.
